My family always tease me for always wanting to know the tide times before setting off to the coast but it can be useful. Living in Cornwall it is very easy to get caught out and the incident at Treyarnon, where 9 people were rescued yesterday, illustrates this well. One of the great pleasures of Cornwall is wandering along the shoreline but just keep an eye for the sea so you don’t get cut off!
