Many Cornish streets were constructed at a time when only horses and carts needed to pass through. As you can see from the photo lorries can, and often do, get stuck trying to negotiate the narrow lanes. This was Strand Street in Padstow last week when a rather over optimistic driver thought he could squeeze through!
