Cycling the Camel Trail.

The Camel Trail follows the old railway line from Padstow to Wadebridge, Bodmin and beyond and provides an 18 mile traffic free, smooth surfaced and level cycle way.

The views are spectacular as it hugs the estuary before going inland through a beautifully wooded route to Bodmin. You can easily stop for coffee or snacks at several places along the route or pack a picnic and pause on one of the seats or picnic areas provided.

Visitors can hire bikes or bring their own if they prefer. The 2 main cycle hire places in Padstow are both located in the Railway car park on South Quay as follows:
